Southern California Hospitals at Culver City, Hollywood and Van Nuys welcomed new Chief Nursing Officer Marie Aragon on Sept. 1. Aragon obtained her master’s degree in nursing leadership and administration at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

“Marie has held vital nursing and operational leadership roles within our organization,” said Southern California Hospital at Culver City Interim CEO Omar Ramirez. “Her dedication to our patients, our staff and the community is essential to fulfill our mission of providing patient-centered care.”

Aragon was the interim CNO for three months before the September appointment, and her clinical specialties include cardiac catheter lab, clinical informatics, and biotechnology.

“My goal in this role is to provide the best holistic care for our patients and an environment where staff know everyone’s voice matters and they are supported.”
